Version 3 of Summer Daze has arrived without warning. I had been secretly running it in beta and decided it was stable enough to put live. The site is now up and running on the latest version of Odeebo and has been christened with a new theme which I built but did not design. The theme is based very very heavily on the Titan Wordpress Theme.

I'm afraid the news comments have disappeared along with the option to register and log-in. The comments will return as if by magic one day when I get around to it, along with site registration for all of my million divided by ten thousand followers! There will be a few more additions coming over time, perhaps a few big ones. Domain name change? Additional blogger? Porn gallery? Who knows?

Well like Saturday, Sunday was also pretty uneventful. It doesn't feel like I have achieved much today as today was rather dull and boring. The dull and boring weather did not help.

Site wise the domain name has resolved for my DNS's and summer-daze.co.uk is go so that's good. I also managed to get that calendar up I wanted which you can see on the right hand side of the site. Apart from that I have put some more work up and put up a photo's section. The Artwork section is now sorted out better too. I have also been working on my smilies today. I have nearly redone the entire set in SVG format. Finally I am nearly happy with these new smilies as they look better than the old Photoshop drawn ones.

There's been a little problem with the R/C car. I was presented with three choices when buying it, there were three different colours each with a different body. I opted for the black car which apparently costs ore however upon trying to pay the ia Paypal I find my debit card that I had on record has now expired, so given the fact that it will take a long time to get another card set up with Paypal I opted for the silver car which isn't as nice but then again it isn't bad either

Well I changed the name of the site back to it's original name, Summer Daze. It was changed to Summers Daze because someone had taken summerdaze.co.uk however I brought summer-daze.co.uk. That summersdaze.co.uk was a waste of money

Saturday came and went, not much going on there. I went out for a drink with my mates on Friday up my local pub and enjoyed several pints of Beer (not Larger).

I have added a mobile version of this site and have also added a subscribe to comment feature when you go to comment which is checked by default. This will notify you if anyone replies to your comment.

I also plan to get one of those nice calendars for the side bar but can't find out where to get them from.

There is now a blog buttons section full of the typical buttons you see on blogs.

I registered the domain "summersdaze.co.uk" last night so hopefully it wont be too long till it resolves and I can start using that domain instead.

UPDATE: I am having a spot of bother with my hosting company and a lack of addon domains. Look's like I'll end up moving my hosting or paying for a more expensive package .

On the plus side I have uploaded some new smilies, since I have never been able to find smilies that look just how I want I made these myself These don't look exactly how I want but they are pretty close. I need to redo all of them in SVG format really. At the moment they are done in Photoshop with a combination of Raster and Vector graphics which is never a good thing.

Well I have always said I would re-start a blog but never got around to doing it after loosing the contents from my old b2 powered blog.

One thing that has persuaded me to give it a go was the recent switch to Linux. With great tool's such a Gnome Blog and BloGTK blogging has become part of the desktop and I'm only ever one click away from a popup allowing me to make a post. So I figured now is a good time to start.

I plan to develop this blog to hold a few Graphics and PHP related creations of mine. I make a few things but don't have a site to let them loose on the world.

The site's looking rather bland at the moment though I'll create a proper theme for it soon. For the meanwhile I just slapped on the very nice "Almost Spring" theme and added a photo I took some time ago. The theme should be something bright and fitting the title Summers Daze which I picked because I love Summer so much and because I spend most my time in a daze
