I don't watch a lot of TV, maybe 1 to 2 hours a week of pre-recorded TV. Well, a reason to watch TV (at least for me) has recently arrived! It's the BBC's Japan Season. I believe it started on the 14th of March but there are still some good things left to watch. Unfortunately I have a feeling this wont appear on BBC iPlayer so I'll have to record it.
I had so much fun typing in "1234567890" just by running my one finger across the top number row of my keyboard. You don't get to do that often that's why 1234567890 Day (did it again
) is so special. Tonight, at exactly 23:31 and 30 seconds GMT is 1234567890 Day (ah that was a good one).
Make sure you are doing something special at this precise moment because it only lasts for a second and it will only come once in your life time.
If you know what I'm talking about hack away my friend! If not you can always consult old Wikipedia for Unix Time.
Gmail, Google's free web/pop based mail service are in the process of giving everyone an extra gigabyte of space to celebrate Gmail's first birthday. Gmail has an interesting way of showing they are giving users more space. If you visit the front page you can see a counter incrementing the amount of megabytes until it reaches two gigabytes. If you login to a Gmail account at the bottom of the screen where it normally reads "You are using x% of your 1000MB" the x corresponds with the amount on the front page and will change if you refresh your browser. Google even have plans to further increase Gmails storage space!
That's a very nice touch, I just hope it moves slowly enough for everyone who uses Gmail to be able to appreciate this ![]()
Gmail and the Google empire just keep getting better and better!
