Yesterday I recieved the copy of Ren and Stimpy the complete first and second series from Amazon. It had to come from America as for some reason it's not sold over here at all.

The DVD is region one so as suspected it would not play on my DVD player which was a shame but it was not a problem as I would just watch it on my PC. Watching it on the PC isn't as good as watching it on a set dedicated to playing DVD's though so I had a look into unlocking my DVD player. It just so happens that my model can be very easily unlocked with no chips. All I had to do was create a hex file, put a few values in it put it in a few folders, burn it, play it in the DVD player and set my DVD players region to 0 which means it plays everything.

Sure enough the Ren and Stimpy DVD now worked. Ren and Stimpy has to be my favorite cartoon of all time. I hadn't seen a Ren and Stimpy episode for over 11 years! Watching some of the episodes again it soon became appartent where I get a lot of my humourus style from. It was odd to hear things and think that's the kind of daft thing I would have said. Perhaps the cartoons had an impact on me when I was growing up or perhaps I have always been this daft? Anyway who cares, Ren & Stimpy is just as good as I remember it and I can't wait to watch all 32 eps again

Yeah the projetors fine, plently bright enough only I haven't posted anything about it as I have another problem now, with more light there is more heat so I'm looking for a more powerfull fan for cooling the LCD.

Thanks for the offer of streaming but alas I am stuck with 56k. I was thinking about spending some money and buying some classic cartoons like bevis and butthead, king of the hill, ren and stimpy.

Nero Location: Joined: 27/04/05	Yeah Ren and Stimpy are great, it's the kind of humor that can really get me rolling off the couch, but I also know quite a share of people who don't see the humor in it though lol. I'm kind of surprised they don't show any episodes in the UK anymore for sucha a long time! A cartoon channel here in the Netherlands (Nickelodeon) still plays them a lot.
