Here's a shot of my smilies set I am currently working on. Originally the smilies were created in Photoshop, having moved to Linux and discovering such wonderfull tools like Inkscape these are now being recreated in SVG. When the set is finished you will be able to download it from here so keep checking back from time to time if you are interested. At the moment all smilies are unanimated but the finished version will have the following smilies animated: Wink, Cry, Laugh, Roll Eyes.
