I was browsing through eBay as you do and happened to stumble across a Nitro R/C Car for only £135. Being the man that I am I couldn't resist the change to own a proper R/C Car. Sure I have an electric one left over from my childhood but this one has a real combustion engine, suspension, gears e.t.c. It apparently has a top speed of 50 MPH though I am a little sceptical of this as it seems too fast for a such a small car and I doubt you'd reach 50 MPH before it went out of range.

I can see this being a fun little toy err, project that no doubt my mates will be wanting to play err, experiment with Winking

I'll keep you posted with a review and perhaps some shots and video if your lucky Cheeky

Hey, is it a Traxxas or T-Maxx? I have a Traxxas, and yes, they do really go 50 MPH, even over 50 if you can tweak it just right! Rolling Eyes

Hey thanks for signing up dan! Your the first Smileing

I'm afraid I couldn't tell you what it was, it didn't say on the site so it could be anything.

Do you have an ESC in your car? The one I'm getting has a MSC in and I was considering upgrading as I have heard ESC's are much more efficient.

I can't believe it really hits 50MPH! That's amazing, I can't wait to see this Rolling Eyes

ESC? MSC? You got me stumped...lol. Do they have somethingto do with gas or electric powered? Well mine is gas powered, a Traxxas, and drives really fast Grining. You just got me hooked on driving mine around again, it was sitting on the floor for a while but when I read this, I had to go out and use mine! Smileing

ESC means electric speed control, MSC is mechanical etc.

Well I'm glad I gave you the insight to use yours again lol. How do you start yours? Is it a pull cord, does it need something to turn it over or do you have to heat a glow plug?

I just have to plug a glow plug, and then plug in an electric starter. I just press the button on the electirc started and it starts up. I unplug the glow plug heater and Electric starter and it runs on gas from there Rolling Eyes A tank of gas lasts for about 45 minutes for me! I think mine is MSC, but I will check up on that, maybe I can take a few pics of mine to show you! Cheeky

45 Minutes, that's a nice running time from a single tank. Some pics would be great Smileing
